the ones that go to you are not always less money. The ones that go to you sometimes dont know what they are talking about and take it apart and aprt it stays. Tney want money up front for parts thats wby we tow bike to shop to make your life easier. People who want tbeir bike fixed at their home afe hard to deal with and picky and hold out on money until they meet a scammer. We tow tne bike to shop anc fix it in the shop itd that simple tryinv to avoid a tow fee ushaly costs the rider more money and plenty of headaches.good luck dude.

Why is it important to have the mechanic come to you ? Whats the hang up bringing it in ? Think about it your asking a guy to work on the floor when he has a work station . Granted some work can be done in the street but under what conditions .

John

If you've got one of the quality insurance companies and a savvy agent you should have coverage for towing. Have it towed to one of the reliable repair shops.

Or maybe post to the wanted section - transport needed to X shop on X date -

I've done emergency repairs in the street / sidewalk, but wouldn't make it a habit to do so, nor carry
all my tools to a location for a bulb change.
