Does anyone know of a course that will take you for a scooter license? Looking for a minimal, inexpensive course as I know how to ride a scooter but just need to pass the road test to get licensed.

TIA

If you are in NJ, they run courses at Fairleigh D. through the state of NJ.

If you know how to ride then the road test is simple especially if you take it on a scooter. You have to make a figure 8 and two circles right and left turned. Generally you do it all of them in a continuos sequence. Then the examiner gets into a vehicle and tells you that you are going to be making a series of turns/stops etc and bring you back to the place you started. You are observed to see if you follow all the rules like indicating to turn, feet on the ground when you stop etc...
So not sure if you need to take a course, though in NY State it is a PITA to get your motorcycle license as you are required to have a person who has a motorcycle license accompany you on the day of the test in a car and they have to ride the examiner in the car that follows you.
There are services that will bring you the scooter and show up for the test for $150-$200 and generally they have an "in" with the examiner and so you may pass the test even if you fail it.
