We will be hitting a number of locations around the NYC metropolitan area. Great rides, live music, BBQ, beer, patches, t-shirts, a slow race and a raffle can be expected. Current schedule is below. Check back as events/times may change and will be posted here:

SCHEDULE FOR FRIDAY, MAY 29TH:
***COAST OF BROOKLYN RIDE TO CONEY ISLAND***
5:30 PM: Meetup at Vespa Brooklyn, 215 Park Avenue, Brooklyn, NY 11205 (corner of Vanderbilt)
7:00 PM: Ride leaves for Coney Island, by way of DUMBO and Red Hook
9:00 PM: Arrive at Coney Island, ride the Cyclone and the Wonder Wheel, stroll the boardwalk, and eat at Nathan's

RIDE EXPERIENCE: Moderate
SCHEDULE FOR SATURDAY, MAY 30TH:
10:00 AM: ***MEET & GREET/SIGN IN AT MCCARREN MOTORS***, 69 Guernsey Street, Brooklyn, NY 11211 (between Nassau Avenue and Norman Avenue in Greenpoint/Williamsburg) Pick up a BlockParty logo t-shirt, patch and raffle tickets (available all weekend, while supplies last). Enjoy coffee and donuts, get acquainted or catch up, and check out scooter-related vendors. NOTE: All riders must obtain free wristband and sign waiver to join any and all group rides.
(9:00 AM: for those from out-of-town or otherwise unfamiliar with Brooklyn, there will be a meetup and ride leaving from the [img=http://www.brassmonkeybar.com/]Brass Monkey[/img], 55 Little West 12th Street, New York, NY 10014 at 9:30 to help get people over to McCarren Motors)
11:30 AM: ***BROOKLYN/QUEENS RIDE TO WORLD'S FAIRGROUNDS/FLUSHING MEADOW PARK***--Head out from McCarren Motors through LIC and Jackson Heights out to the home of the 1939 and 1964 World's Fairs, check out the Unisphere, and grab a snack. (Yankee fans beware, the Mets will be in town at CitiField). Then we'll follow the East River (more or less) back to Brooklyn.
RIDE LEAD: BRENDAN (Hendon)
RIDE EXPERIENCE: Moderate
4:00 PM - ***BBQ AT SCOOTER BOTTEGA***, 65 Union Street, Brooklyn, NY 11231 (between Van Brunt & Columbia)-Enjoy food, drink, and live music from Better Off Dead, and get to see some old and new friends. (duration ~4 hours).
9:00 PM: ***TIMES SQUARE NIGHT RIDE*** - Big night ride leaving from Scooter Bottega up the West Side and to and through Times Square. It sounds like the city will be shutting down a large part of Broadway to vehicular traffic in the not-too-distant future, so don't miss this.

10:30 PM - ***HIT THE TOWN*** - If you still have the energy. Location t/b/d. If you're drinkin' leave the scoot and take the subway. (duration ??? hours).
SCHEDULE FOR SUNDAY, MAY 31ST:
9:30 AM: ***MEETUP AT BRASS MONKEY*** (55 Little West 12th Street, New York, NY 10014) Grab some coffee or breakfast on the way over, reminisce about Friday and Saturday's fun, and get ready to ride.
10:00 AM: ***NEW JERSEY RIDE TO EAGLE ROCK RESERVATION AND SCOOTERS ORIGINALI*** - Ride from the Brass Monkey over to the Garden State, through the Meadowlands, up some steep hills, a few parks and back roads, and some great vistas of the city, ending up at Scooters Originali in Orange, NJ.
RIDE LEAD: BRENDAN (Hendon)
RIDE EXPERIENCE: Moderate/Experienced (no highway riding, but there will be some strectches of open road at speed, some steep hills and winding roads)
12:30 PM-3:00 PM: ***PARTY AT SCOOTERS ORIGINALI*** (50 South Center Street, Orange, NJ 07050), Check out the new, expanded Scooters O, and enjoy lunch, music courtesy of DJ Gene Merideth, the always popular SLOW RACE COMPETITION, a RIDING SKILLS CHALLENGE, and more fun.
3:30 PM: RETURN TO NYC
4:30 PM: ***WRAP-UP PARTY AT THE BELL HOUSE*** (149 7th Street, Brooklyn, NY 11215) Get ready for some more live music, DJs, food (Margarita's Taco Stand), and, of course, the all-important RAFFLE!!!!! We've got some great prizes lined up, so buy early and buy often (tickets $1 each). Must be present to win. Bands scheduled - GeTSeT, 45 Adapters and The Forthrights. HeatherDrue will also wow the crowd with their DJ skillz.
