how much is gas in new york, along quality 2 stroke oil, here in england good petrol (gas)97 octane is about £1.25 per litre, and as i stated on another thread, putoline mx9 2 stroke is £18.00 per litre,so as you can imagine going on a rally thats a good few miles works out quite expensive on a tuned lambretta that does between 35 and 40 miles per gallon, just tring to compare the prices,i know your gas is alot cheaper ,just wonderd how much cheaper, all the best, nunny, bradford discharge s,c

0.264172052 liters in a gallon

Average price of gas in New York 3 USD

Quid/Buck exchange rate today: 1.5682

3/1.5682*0.264172052 = 0.5053667618926157

about 1/2 quid per liter.

the gas / petrol here is definitely cheap, but you will see similar prices on 2 stroke oil. That's the price of running a highly tuned Lambretta.

You do have the full flow tap on the tank, right? Nothing like the engine getting all it wants when it needs it.

it's not so much greed but a need to modify behavior through taxes.

Fuel in the State of New Jersey is cheaper still. I calculated 45.5 pence a litre. btw, I used to live in Bradford back in the 1980's.
